Fusion
Lunè Medical Spa is excited to offer the top of the line and most innovative laser treatments.
Fusion™ by Cartessa is an advanced skin‑rejuvenation treatment exclusive to the Helix device, combining fractional CO₂ energy with non‑ablative resurfacing for powerful results and minimal downtime. This dual‑action approach allows us to treat multiple layers of the skin in a single session, improving fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, pigmentation, texture irregularities, and overall skin quality. Fusion™ is ideal for clients who want the benefits of deeper resurfacing. Many clients see visible improvement after one session, though a series of 1–2 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart may be recommended depending on your goals and the level of correction needed.
Downtime with Fusion™ varies based on the intensity of your customized treatment. Most clients experience 1–3 days of redness, followed by mild dryness or a sandpaper‑like texture as the skin renews for up to 7 days. Makeup can typically be worn within 24–48 hours, and normal activities can resume quickly. Because Fusion™ treats both the superficial and deeper layers of the skin, results continue to improve over several weeks as collagen rebuilds, leaving your complexion smoother, brighter, and more refined with each session.
Time
A Fusion laser treatment typically takes 30–45 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area and the specific concerns being addressed. This includes cleansing the skin, performing the laser treatment, and reviewing post-treatment care instructions. The actual laser portion usually takes about 15–30 minutes, with smaller areas requiring less time and full-face treatments taking longer.
Fusion laser treatments are generally well-tolerated and require minimal downtime, allowing most patients to return to normal activities shortly after their appointment. Mild redness or warmth may occur following treatment, but these effects typically resolve within a few hours to a few days.
Expect 24-48 hours of social downtime.
Targets
Fusion laser treatments target multiple skin concerns at once, including skin texture, tone, pigmentation, and overall skin rejuvenation. By combining different laser technologies or wavelengths, Fusion treatments work to stimulate collagen production, improve uneven skin tone, and enhance overall skin quality for a smoother, more radiant appearance.
Fusion laser treatments are commonly used to address concerns such as sun damage, fine lines, mild skin laxity, redness, and pigmentation. They can also help improve dull skin, uneven texture, and enlarged pores while promoting healthier, more youthful-looking skin. Because Fusion laser treatments are customizable, they can be tailored to target individual skin concerns while delivering gradual, natural-looking results with minimal downtime.
How Often
Fusion laser treatments are typically recommended in a series of 3–4 treatments spaced about 4–6 weeks apart for optimal skin rejuvenation and collagen stimulation. Because Fusion laser treatments work by gradually improving skin tone, texture, and overall skin quality, multiple sessions help build more noticeable and longer-lasting results over time.
After completing the initial series, many patients choose maintenance treatments every 6–12 months to maintain smoother skin, improved tone, and continued collagen production. Your provider may recommend a customized schedule based on your skin concerns, goals, and how your skin responds to treatment.
