Lunè Medical Spa is excited to offer the top of the line and most innovative laser treatments.

Vein therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses targeted laser energy to safely reduce the appearance of visible veins. The laser heats and collapses unwanted vessels, allowing the body to naturally absorb them over time. It is commonly used for spider veins and small facial veins on areas like the face and legs. Treatments are quick, require little to no downtime, and result in clearer, more even-looking skin.

Time

Laser vein therapy appointments typically take 15–30 minutes, depending on the size and number of veins being treated. Smaller areas, such as facial spider veins, may take as little as 15 minutes, while larger areas like the legs may take closer to 30 minutes or slightly longer. The treatment itself is relatively quick, and most patients are able to return to normal activities immediately afterward. Some mild redness or swelling may occur following treatment, but this typically resolves within a few hours to a few days.

Targets

Laser vein therapy targets visible blood vessels and vascular concerns on the face and body. The treatment uses focused laser energy to heat and collapse unwanted veins, which are then naturally absorbed by the body over time. This helps reduce the appearance of spider veins, broken capillaries, and small vascular lesions for clearer, more even-toned skin.

Laser vein therapy is commonly used to treat areas such as the face, including around the nose and cheeks, as well as the legs where spider veins frequently develop. It can also improve redness associated with conditions like rosacea and reduce small red or purple veins caused by sun damage, genetics, or aging. Overall, the treatment helps create a more even complexion and smoother skin appearance with minimal downtime.

How Often

Laser vein therapy is typically performed in a series of 1–3 treatments spaced about 4–6 weeks apart, depending on the size, location, and severity of the veins being treated. Some smaller facial veins may improve after just one treatment, while larger or more stubborn veins—especially on the legs—may require multiple sessions for optimal results.

Once treated, the targeted veins are permanently reduced or eliminated, but new veins can develop over time due to genetics, sun exposure, aging, or lifestyle factors. Because of this, some patients choose maintenance treatments once a year or as needed to maintain clear, even-toned skin.

Frequently Asked Questions

Laser vein treatments are commonly used to reduce the appearance of spider veins and small broken capillaries on the face and legs.

The laser delivers targeted heat to the vein, causing it to collapse so the body can gradually absorb it and improve the skin’s appearance.

Most clients feel a brief warm snapping sensation during treatment, but it is generally well tolerated.

The number of treatments varies depending on the size and number of veins, but many people need 1–3 sessions for best results.

Downtime is minimal, though mild redness or swelling may occur temporarily in the treated area.
